Communication usually means 'talk'. But there are many things that can't be communicated that way.
What if you could learn to use the body as your instrument for
•listening to your emotions
•connecting to a greater reality
•exploring love and emotional intimacy
My 12+ years experience flogging dozens of men and women from all over the world, is your guarantee to gaining skill and insight into this beautiful practice.
Throughout my life, I have been searching for a connection to a 'profound truth' - for want of a better word. I tried to find it through intellect, by reading and talking. It was only when I discovered how to use whips and floggers, that I finally discovered that what I was searching for was the innate wisdom of the body.
In UM DA - 'Meditative Flogging', the body of a partner is struck with whips, floggers, and canes. In response to the impact, body and mind go through various stages of alertness and relaxation. The result can be a profound, peaceful and meditative state. Learning how to give a good flogging can completely transform the way you and your partner feel - about yourself and about each other.
Through Meditative Flogging, you and your partner/s can experience joy, reconnect with their inner beauty, and find a place of stillness within.
This can help you deepen your bond with your partner, and help you feel a connection to a truth that is beyond words.
Throughout history, shamans and monks have used intense physical experiences and rituals to reach these meditative or 'trance states'. You can learn to create these kind of experiences with a partner by using floggers and other whips with skill, precision, and rhythm. This can help you deepen your bond with your partner, and together, have the feeling that you are connecting in a way that is beyond words.
This course is aimed at the giving partner, so that s/he can learn using their whips. As with learning any process: you need to put in effort and practice. You're taught how to practice and gain skill, and shown various exercises, so that you can learn how to use and understand the way floggers and other whips activate the body's 'happiness hormones'.
In this course you'll learn:
• the merits of an embodied spiritual practice
• the origins of impact practices in myth and religious rituals
• what 'natural drugs' the body produces and how they influence the emotional experience
• to practice using your floggers and whips with precision and skill
• to create a space that is physically and emotionally safe
• to help your partner surrender to the experience and let their distracting thoughts go
• to make an encounter with a partner last as long as you both want it to last
• integrating Meditative Flogging with daily life
What this course is not:
• Meditative Flogging engages the body, but this course is not meant as s*xual education. The spiritual can be sensual, too
• this course is aimed at people who wish to expand their spiritual practice by using time-honoured, body-based methods. It's not medical advice
• the course teaches the fine art of whipping, but I can't teach you how to be loving and aware
Disclaimer:
Warning of the potential dangers and misuse of this type of course: 'Meditative Flogging for Body-Mind explorers' teaches the students how to use whips, floggers, and canes to hit a partner's body and engage them in a controlled and careful manner. This may result in bruises, that will typically fade from the body within an hour to a few days. The course teaches how to use speed, force, and rhythm to create a sensation that is typically experienced as pleasant. However, the inexperienced, or careless practitioner can and will hurt a person they're hitting in this way; and they can even cause injuries. It is adviced to use the techniques taught in this course similar to the way one would go about a practice of martial arts: take reasonable care, abstain when in doubt, don't act in a way that may cause harm. At all times, practitioners should make sure the person receiving a flogging is well-informed and has consented to subject their body to the whips, floggers, canes and other instruments their partners may use on their body.
This course contains Adult Topics and is for 18+ only.
